Julie is an absolute magician!! I have fine dark hair and often come out deflated when getting my hair done. I went in to HELMAT for a cut and colour and came out feeling a million dollars! The service was phenomenal, the staff so lovely and friendly! The salon has such a great vibe! Such a great experience! I would certainly recommend treating yourself and booking an appointment!!

I recently moved to Darwin and worried so much about having to find a new hairdresser that I would be comfortable with colouring and cutting my hair! Helmet was the one I went for and I can happily say I’ve never had such an amazing experience as I did at Helmet yesterday. I was in on Friday and Susan very patiently and carefully helped to fix a couple of consecutive bad haircuts and put some gorgeous highlights in.

Susan really took the time to listen to what I wanted and didn’t want, and was very kind and patient with me. I get quite anxious in hair salons (!) and appreciate I’m probably not the easiest customer for that reason.

I’m really so grateful that Susan took the time to explain things, and cut my hair so carefully and thoughtfully. My hair is now back exactly how I like it to be, which I didn’t think would be possible.
Helmet is a gorgeous salon, and very relaxing. Nice range of herbal teas and great massage chairs too.

I’m really happy with the results of my visit, and I finally feel like myself again after about 7-8 months of really not liking my hair at all.

Now I love it, and feel happy I trusted Susan and I’m grateful. So, just writing to say a big and sincere thank you to Susan and Helmet salon. I’ll be back.
